Protecting climbing paths on V.F. is important for safety.

Safety rules are followed by constructors enterprises.

Rock attachment-points(R.A.P.)
  They are bedded into rock for supporting wire rope. Any new ferratas the R.A.P. tip is pink tail shaped for the sliding of a long safety rope.

Wire rope.
  It is strong fixed on metal bars. For safety wire rope has a soft tip buckle at the end of each vertical segment.This is not the case for an austrian V.F. called Kaiser Max. Wire rope is only a safety line in V.F. and not a climbing aid.

Rungs, handrails, big nails and pedals.
  They are foot or hand accessories as supports. Any of them like big nails can be dangerous .

Ladders.
  Usually employed to cross a difficult vertical segment. In France for example the ladder of Thônes, called "firemen’s ladder" to cross the hermit overhanging.

Rock rungs.
  To preserve mountain from metal abundance, any constructors enterprises sculpt foot support into the rock.
