Safety straps:
There are two sorts : V and Y shapes. Actually, most of Y straps are used and that is for the best safety. We will study them.
You will find in any sportshop a complete V.F. safety device, guaranted by laboratory tests.
- S.S.D. must be fixed to harness buckle with a special knot ( please see the picture).
- the common tip safety strap must be free for a good functioning. This common tip strap is fixed into the harness buckle support by a flimsy hook. That last one is foreseen to break in case of fall.
A city hall administrator law get obligatory to put safety V.F. gear in every V.F. site.
Besides safety V.F. gear you can have a safety long rope sliding into rock fixed attachment point.
