Informations about this via ferrata:
Protected area, magnificents larches forests and beautifuls flowers.
A short but vertical section for the ferrata beginning.
Return with wire rope to prolong the ferrata.
Both choice for the return: first a wayout on the left at the ferrata end ( east) which go to Pousterle pass in about 25 mn, second is on the right with a wire rope around a cutten tree, 160 yards away.
Nice descent with 300 yards along the wire rope, like a small ferrata. 25 mn is the time for the whole return .
Approch :
Direction to Vallouise, Puy Saint Vincent moutain resort 4250 feet, then on Prés road , after forestal trail for about 1,5 miles as far as Pousterle pass.
From the wood board indications 110 yards under Pousterle pass (ski run), follow moutain bike way to the west ( yellows signs), instead of forestal trail. A discreet sign show the direction to the via ferrata starting at the mountain base.
